Returns

Shopping online is difficult because you can’t try on the items and, sadly, sometimes a purchase isn’t everything you thought it would be.  We want to make your shopping experience worry and hassle free and our return policies reflect that. 


How long do I have to decide if I need to return my purchase? 

You may return your unused purchase within 10 days of its delivery for store credit. As soon as your shawl or scarf arrives, please inspect it closely and try it on.  If you find a major imperfection that was not noted in the product description or if you decide it is too big/small or the wrong color, then please notify us at robinsnest@ect.com as soon as possible with your reason for returning it.  This will begin the return process. 


What exactly is the return process?

Repack your shawl in its original packaging and box. Email us at robinsnest@ect.com to let us know the reason for the return.  Expect a response within 48 hours. Once you’ve received approval, ship the package back to us.  Unfortunately, at this time, we cannot cover shipping on return items.  Use the shipping method most affordable for you.


Can I return any item from Robin’s Nest for minor imperfections?

While Robin’s Nest guarantees quality work, please keep in mind that each item is handmade in a home with distractions.  Some variations in patterns and stitches should be expected.  We will not sell an item that is damaged or has flaws that impact its functionality.  Each piece is inspected before being posted for sale.  If there is a minor cosmetic imperfection, it will be noted in the description with a small discount.  Returns cannot be made on those items. 


My shawl is too big/small or is the wrong color.  Can I return it? 

Yes!  You will receive store credit for the item’s full price. 


I had my shawl for several days and I noticed that a thread is broken.  Can I return it? 

Each item is closely inspected before being shipped and Robin’s Nest cannot be held accountable for accidents after delivery.  However, visit our "Caring for Crochet" page for instructions on how to repair and/or wash crocheted items. 


How can I pay?

We use PayPal as our payment processor, so we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Or, you can pay using your PayPal balance.

Is your site secure?

Yes. You pay through PayPal, the world's premier electronic payment solution, not through this site. We never even see your credit card number; PayPal just tells us that you've paid and we ship you your lovely shawl or scarf. We receive your money through PayPal later.

Do I have to have a PayPal account to buy?

No, you can pay with your credit card without a PayPal account.
